Crouton Recipe | Vegan
Small and crunchy buns, many like croutons. Make them easy, healthy, and flavored at home. Delicious, crunchy topping for a Lettuce and Avocado Salad or Vegan Cream of Mushroom Soup.
Servings 4 cups
- 4 cups bread cut in cubes
- 1/4 tbsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil dried
- 1 tbsp dill dried
Gather all the ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 752°F.
Choose your favorite bread and cut it in small cubes, any size you like.
Mix in a bowl the olive oil, spices and the herbs.
Toss the croutons into the sauce.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the bread cubes on the baking tray.
Bake for 15-20 minutes tossing occasionally. Be careful do not burn them.
- Use your favorite type of olive oil, or vegan butter or coconut oil.
- For Gluten Free Croutons just use gluten free bread.
- Put it on the refrigerator for up to 1 week. I would not recommend freezing them.
