Crouton Recipe | Vegan

Small and crunchy buns, many like croutons. Make them easy, healthy, and flavored at home. Delicious, crunchy topping for a Lettuce and Avocado Salad or Vegan Cream of Mushroom Soup.

  • 4 cups bread cut in cubes
  • 1/4 tbsp salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp basil dried
  • 1 tbsp dill dried


  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 752°F.
  • Choose your favorite bread and cut it in small cubes, any size you like. 
  • Mix in a bowl the olive oil, spices and the herbs.
  • Toss the croutons into the sauce. 
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the bread cubes on the baking tray.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes tossing occasionally. Be careful do not burn them.


  • Use your favorite type of olive oil, or vegan butter or coconut oil.
  • For Gluten Free Croutons just use gluten free bread.


  • Put it on the refrigerator for up to 1 week. I would not recommend freezing them.
