Cashew Butter Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cashews
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Himalayan salt

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Preheat oven to 325F.
  • Add the cashews in a medium size pan and bake for 15 minutes until golden
  • Let them cool for 10 minutes.
  • Add cashews, salt and coconut oil in the food processor and start processing, until smooth and creamy.
  • Stop each time to scrape the sides. In the beginning, the mixture will be quite thick and after it releases all the oils and it will get an into a creamy consistency. Approximately 20-25 minutes.

  • Use organic coconut oil.
  • Be patient and scrape the sides often.

  • Put it on theĀ refrigerator for up to 1 week. Keep your nut butter in Mason type glass jars or other airtight containers
