Omalia Village in Mountain area Nafpaktos, Greece
The heart of beautiful fir forest and 65km from Nafpaktos town at 1.170 meters, there is a picturesque Greek village named Kryoneria, the village of my mother! So I can proudly say that except my roots in Patra (I was born & lived there up to 10 years old) and Nafpaktos, I have also roots from this little jewel.
Set amid the pleasant Greek village countryside, it was once a green field, the field now contains a beautiful stone hotel called Omalia Village surrounded by forest and mountains. Here you have what is best around, in terms of outdoor and indoor hospitality.
"The name of the village comes from the plateau of Omalia, which extends to the northeast of Kryoneria, between the villages Eltovrisi, Elatou and Grigoria" (Source: Omalia Website).
Green Complex
Built-in 2014, this Green Complex complies with all the principles of the thermal insulation and it is one of the best in Oreini Nafpaktos, indeed, the strong point is that staying in Omalia Greek Village you are almost the epic center of the forest. I am overwhelmed by the green surroundings and the nice perfume of the fir trees.
Everything is arranged to spend enjoyable holidays: bar, cafe, restaurant, outdoor heated pool, gym, clinic, bikes, recreation hall with the internet and indoor & outdoor playground.
During the day, you can rest by the pool, here no need to rush. The pool area with its furniture and the open bar is a charming place, thanks to the large bay offering a wide view of the typical villas and the greenery around. We love the long chairs that allow you to peacefully sunbathe facing the pool.

The decoration of the place is very simple to style with pale shades and charming details.
Food
The restaurant with a view of the mountains offers local cuisine which mainly contains meat and dairy. They mainly use local products from the region. In addition, there is a buffet breakfast each morning and a cafe area next to the recreation center (at the top) with breathtaking views!

Alternatively, you can bring your own supplies and cook in the kitchen that is inside each room. Please note that there isn't any food supermarkets, markets in the surrounded area.
