Clementine Bakery - 395 Classon Ave in Brooklyn
Elle Barton started Clementine Bakery with a few bucks and a book of vegan recipes. Simple baked goods made with love and seasonal ingredients. Their goal is to satisfy your taste buds by using healthy and fresh ingredients that are 100% vegan.
Each small batch is individually handmade by our bakers to ensure the tastiest treats in Brooklyn. Elle opened Clementine Bakery in Bed-Stuy in 2012 in a tiny storefront on Greene Avenue, baking treats and custom cakes.
They also have Gluten-Free options and dog treats for your lovely dogs. Their special days are great! I have tried the BBQ “Chicken” Veggie sandwich with cheese and ranch on a toasted ciabatta roll and it was heaven in the mouth!
Cinnamon Snail - The Pennsy, 33rd and 7th Avenue, New York, NY
Started back on Valentine's Day of 2010 as the country’s first vegan organic food truck, The Cinnamon Snail has become one of NYC’s most beloved vegan institutions. Their food trucks still serve at festivals, farmers' markets, and catering events, and our two brick-and-mortar locations in FiDi and Midtown Manhattan continue to tear the roof off of people’s expectations of vegan cuisine. All their food is Kosher, 100% vegan, and crafted by a wild west wizard with a cauldron. Try their Cinnamon rolls! They are simply hypnotizing! A Vegan Bakery that you will love! - Unfortunately is Permanently Closed
Sweet to Lick - 78 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY
Sweet To Lick is a place built Vegan from the start. In 2000 Michael (your baker) met a dope vegan lady. They went out and found very little vegan food and even fewer good vegan desserts. Their humble baker thought "I can do better than this, how hard could it be." Well, in 2010 he finally figured out the best chocolate chip cookies since time vegan.
Choose from delicious cookies to various Pastries and Gluten-free options. I have tried their Fluffanutter bar with Peanut Butter and Marshmallows. Oh my! Delicious!

Their baked goods never contain artificial ingredients, trans fats, or unhealthy cholesterol.

Confectionery! is a joint sweet shop from Sweet Maresa's and Lagusta's Luscious. Organic & fair trade & vegan, as usual, of course. Opened May 2016. You have to try their Gluten-free double chocolate peanut butter cake. You will love it!
Levain Bakery - 351 Amsterdam Ave, New York
Competitive swimmers and triathletes, Pam and Connie passed their grueling workouts by engaging in passionate conversations about starting their own company and baking, which ultimately inspired them to leave their respective careers in fashion and finance. They opened a small bread shop in 1995, which they named Levain Bakery. Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald created Levain Bakery in 1995, out of their passions for food, friendship, and hard work. Do not miss their Vegan cookies! Vegetarian and Vegans options available.

Lee Lee's Baked Goods - 283 West 118th Street, New York
In 1964, Alvin Lee Smalls, a South Carolina native who had recently moved to New York" was working in the bakery of New York-Presbyterian Hospital. While browsing a newspaper one day, he came across a recipe for rugelach. Smalls loved baking, and would often practice at home. He didn’t see the dessert as a traditional Jewish treat but rather as an opportunity to make something delicious. He made a batch of rugelach based on the recipe, and after experimenting for six months, Smalls finally perfected his own version of the unique pastry, leading to the beginning of a cross-cultural legend in the Village of Harlem.
